MB: Big and rich wine, savoury dustiness, has great flavour and concentration. Very enjoyable feel. Happy wine. Ripe flavours, Xmas cakey sweetness but tempered by dusty tannins. Rated: 89
GW: Licorice, leather, sweet cherry fruit, furry mesh of tannin, some sweet and sour, decent length. Mint. Good local wine. Rated:  90

Galli Estate Sangiovese Artigiano 2010

MB: Savoury fruited feel with chalky tannin, kirsch, dusty spice. Fine boned with peppery notes. Great length and elegant form – has a great intensity and precision. Super length of flavour, better for approachability now. Rated: 91
GW: Peppery, cherry, drying tannin, leather, vanilla oak, perfumed (oak), fine tannin, rich and sweet. Rated:  91
